El Libro que No Puede Esperar : The Book that cannot wait

A book that lasts only two months once you open it

El Libro que No Puede Esperar or the Book that can not wait, is a concept designed by an Argentinian publishing house “Eterna Cadencia,” Buenos Aires. The book is printed using a special kind of ink that fades away within two months on coming in contact with light and air. So if you don’t get in the words quick, you are left with nothing but a bunch of blank pages.

Well, you must be wondering what could such a book be used for?

The publishing house has a very ingenious idea indeed. What they are hoping is that the disappearing ink is going to encourage the young readers to read faster or else the book will fade away! This will also create more writing opportunities for the budding Latin American writers. It hopes to be more like a supporting effort to encourage more writing.

The concept has been a huge success, and the first edition of the book made with the disappearing ink was sold out on the very first day.

There is a lot of literature out there that doesn’t deserve to wait on the shelves, and ours won’t wait at all.

Hey, but what about all the book collections, and a personal libraries at home?
